Maati is working with grassroots community near Jaipur. Having beliefs of sustainable living and helping the community, it offers livelihood, fair wages and good working conditions.
Most of the seamstresses, quality controller and sample in-charges are beautiful and talented ladies of the same village. We teach them the basic skills and learn from them the possibilities for the execution of our ideas. All the garments are hand made and the colours are naturally sourced hence making every piece slightly different and unique.
He lives in Jaipur. He is in the business of dyeing cloth materials from 20 years. He has inherited this from his father and said it is their ‘pushtani work’ – means it has been passed on from generations.He lives in a joint family and have 2 kids. He is very satisfied with his work. His kids visit workshop in their summer holidays and are so inquisitive about this art of dyeing fabric.The whole process is very beautiful to watch and Mr. Firoz Khan is doing a great job.
Radhaji belongs to a village named Gajsinghpura. She has been associated with this production house for quiet sometime now. She works in the sampling unit. She is a very skilled lady. She has a great understanding of patterns and stitch them with amazing finishing. She works really hard and is paid fairly. She works really hard and is paid fairly for the same.
